  • The Me I Want to Be: Becoming God's Best Version of You
This series, by popular author, John Ortberg, makes use of audio-visual resources to help answer the question, "If God has a perfect vision for my life, why does spiritual growth seem so difficult?" Ortberg offers insightful and creative responses to the question to guide the learner into moving forward and experiencing God more fully every day.
    • Cost of resource (optional): $12.00
    • Facilitator: Pastor David Helms (692-8750, ext. 223)

  • Christianity and World Religions: Wrestling with Questions People Ask
Those who attended Christianity's Family Tree last fall remember Adam Hamilton, senior minister of the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection in Leawood, Kansas, and his informative video presentations. This Bridgepoint follows the same format, with Hamilton interviewing leaders from five world religions. While treating these traditions with respect and recognizing their contributions, he also helps us understand the essential beliefs of Christianity in light of the other religious in our midst. Guest speakers will also contribute to the class.
    • Cost of resource: $8.00
    • Facilitator: Tom Allen (692-8750, ext. 224)

  • First Place: A Christ-Centered Approach to Health
First Place focuses not simply on weight loss, but on leading a balanced life - emotionally, physically, and spiritually - putting Christ first in all things. A weekly Bible Study and support from other participants help learners to reach their weight-loss and wellness goals. Based on proven techniques and 25 years of experience in hundreds of churches, First Place is a twelve-week study that offers weekly accountability, Scripture memory CD, and menu plans with grocery lists, recipes, and nutritional information.
    • Information Session - Wednesday, September 1
    • Study sessions begin - Wednesday, September 8
    • Facilitator: Beverly Allen
  • Sharing Your Faith: Becoming Stronger Salt & Brighter Light
When Christ gave the command to spread the Gospel, He gave it to all of us. This eight-week series will help you discover the meaning and importance of sharing your faith as well as provide solid guidance and suggestions to move forward in your witness for Christ.
    • Cost of resource: $3.00
    • Facilitator: Al Coburn
